Paula DeSanctis Bonavitacola graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology before going back to Italy to study design in her hometown of Pescara, where her passion for aesthetics was first born as a child playing among the ancient Italian and Roman architecture. In 1989, after returning to the United States, she used her talents and vision to add a 2000 square foot addition to her private residence. After joining her brother, Louis, to form DeSanctis Builders, LLC, her projects escalated to building, designing, and staging custom homes and properties in the Philadelphia area and surrounding counties including the Main Line, Delaware beaches, and New Jersey resorts.

Currently, Paula is working on various projects including renovations and additions in Lower Merion, Newtown Square, and Bryn Mawr, but new projects are always welcome to her growing business.

After immigrating to the United States in 1957, Louis DeSanctis graduated from LaSalle College with a Bachelor of Science is Mathematics. He continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania, where he received an MSED, also in Mathematics. His background in civil engineering naturally led him into the construction business in 1964. Over his years of work, he has completed projects in the greater Philadelphia area and the surrounding counties, including the Main Line and New Jersey Shore resorts. The majority of his work has focused on custom single family homes and other types of new construction.

Currently, Louis and his business partner are involved in several projects, both renovation and new construction, in the areas of Lower Merion and Newtown Township, Delaware County.
